2. A clinical examination of the teeth and all soft tissues.

As a result of this examination, we can determine a treatment plan for you. This plan will tell you what treatment is needed, why it is necessary, how much it will cost, and how long it will take.
The most important service we have is our plan for preventative dentistry. We know that there is no need for constantly recurring decay and gum disease. We also know that with proper home care, virtually all dental disease can be prevented by the patient! We will be happy to help you get started on this preventative dental care program.

Here at Georgetown Smile, we take great pride in our clean and warm environment. We use state of the art sterilization procedures to ensure patient safety. Parking
- On-street parking is available after 9:30 a.m., for two hours, unmetered.
- Limited parking is available on the gravel lot between 4400 and Washington Photocopy.
- Avoid parking on the paved lot or you may be towed.
- There are 3 parking spaces in the garage immediately as you enter.
Public Transportation
-The closest Metro stop is Rosslyn (orange/blue lines). From there, walk over the Francis Scott Key Bridge.
-Turn left onto Canal Road and stay on Canal Road past the entrance to Georgetown University.
-Follow the road up the hill to MacArthur Blvd.
Our office is located on the left.
Option 2
Take the Metro to Dupont Circle, then take the D6 bus. Catch the bus west of Dupont Circle on P Street, across from Pan Asian Restaurant. Ask the driver to let you off at the last stop on Foxhall Road. Call (202) 667-7000 for schedule information. Please note that the bus returning to Dupont Circle departs from Q Street at Foxhall Road.
From Downtown Washington, DC
-Take M Street west through Georgetown.
-Past Key Bridge, M Street becomes Canal Road.
Stay on Canal Road past the entrance to Georgetown University.
-Canal Road branches off to the left at a light. Do NOT take this.
-Stay in the left lane (now Foxhall Road) and go up the hill to the traffic light.
-Turn left onto MacArthur Boulevard.
-Georgetown Smile is the second building on the left, between Washington Photocopy and Tahi's Restaurant.
From Northwest Washington, DC
-Take Nebraska Avenue west past American University.
-Turn left onto Foxhall Road. Stay on Foxhall for several miles.
-Cross Reservoir Road, then go through one more light (Q street).
-At the next light, turn right onto MacArthur Blvd.
-The Georgetown Family Center is the second building on the left, between Washington Photocopy and Tahi's Restaurant.
From Maryland
-Take 95 South to the Capital Beltway (I-95, I-495) and head west on I-495 to Northern Virginia, past the interchange for I-270.
-Take Exit 40 (Glen Echo, Cabin John) onto Clara Barton Parkway and follow the parkway into DC.
-When traffic is restricted (from 2:45 P.M. to 7:30 P.M.), exit the parkway onto MacArthur Blvd. (turn right) and go about 5 miles into the city.
-During unrestricted times of day, follow the parkway south just past Chain Bridge and turn left onto Arizona Avenue, then right onto MacArthur Blvd.
-Follow MacArthur Blvd. past the Safeway.
The road divides at the reservoir; keep right to stay on MacArthur.
-Go through one more traffic light, and then about three blocks.
-There is an alley between 4400 MacArthur Blvd. and the Washington Photocopy store.
-If you havent found parking, turn in here to go around the building.
-There is no place to turn around once you go down the hill.
-Enter through the glass doors from the plaza and go down one level.
-After 5:00 P.M. use the side entrance off the parking lot.
From Virginia
-Take I-95 North toward Washington, DC.
-Near Springfield, take I-395 north until you are near the Pentagon.
-Follow signs for Rosslyn and Key Bridge, taking either Route 50 or Route 110.
-Cross Key Bridge, staying in the left lanes.
-Turn left onto Canal Road.
-Stay on Canal Road past the entrance to Georgetown University.
-Canal Road branches off to the left at a light. Do NOT take this.
-Stay in the left lane and go up the hill (now Foxhall Road) to the traffic light.
-Turn left onto MacArthur Boulevard.

*Appointments
If you would like to make an appointment, please call our office at (202) 333-0003. You can also fill out the Appointment Request form in the Contact section.
*Insurance
As a courtesy to you, we accept nearly all insurance plans. We will also submit your insurance forms and apply any reimbursement to your account balance. Any estimated co-payments are due at the time of service.
*Cancellation
If you are unable to keep an appointment, we ask that you kindly provide us with at least 24 hours notice. We ask for this advance notice so that we can offer this appointment to another patient. A fee may be charged if a patient does not show up for an appointment without sufficient notice.
*Financial
All payment is due at the time that services are rendered. Forms of payment accepted by the office are check, cash, or any major credit card.
